After careful consideration, ONFX chose VerticalResponse for email marketing. So, what is so great about VerticalResponse? Everyone wants to know the number of visitors to their website, right? I initially signed up for a free trial with another provider, iContact, which seems like a very popular and recognized choice. While using iContact, I thought to myself that this is pretty easy to use. So, it might be difficult to find a better product, especially for the price. Overall, I believe iContact provides a great service. The only issue that I had with it, was the email templates that they provide out of the box. The designs do not look that great and appear outdated. I figured that I will have to create my own. I figured that this is probably the case with any template solution. I then saw an ad somewhere for another provider, VerticalResponse. I had never heard of them but they offered an interesting plan that I have not seen anywhere else. I signed up for a free trial and it blew me away. I can’t believe how much easier it is to use than iContact (that I thought could not be beat). The email templates look very nice and I could easily use them as is - that is a BIG time saver. Their monthly plans start at $9.99, which is already less than most vendors. But they also offer another plan where you pay by the number of emails that you send. If this fits your needs, then it saves you even more money (which is important to every small business these days).
